Not One

It was proven today that you can’t believe everything I say. It’s a terrible thing to admit but it’s true. Yesterday I announced only one hummingbird was still here, then today while walking towards the house two zoomed directly in front of me, just about at eye level, and playfully danced together before zipping off up high into the trees. Not one, but two. Could there be more? I have no idea now! Some cooler air is coming in for the next few days so we’ll have to wait and see what happens • We spent our morning watching Queen Elizabeth’s procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall. Beautiful. Solemn. Regal. I was moved too by last night’s ride from the airport to Buckingham Palace. The Queen’s flag-draped coffin inside the hearse made visible by interior lights, cars coming to a complete stop on London’s highways when she passed by, spontaneously showing reverence and respect for their Monarch - it was really something special to witness • Peace & Love
