A Day In The Life

We visited our favorite Garden Store this morning looking for Black-eyed Susans, Echinacea and Sedum, and we were successful on all counts! A few fall bulbs and decorative pumpkins may have found their way into our cart too • Since we’re not planning to plant them in the ground until after tomorrow they’re all sitting pretty on our front stone patio. I was pleased to see this common green bottle fly already checking out the Sedum. They’re also known as blow flies, and are part of the pollinator family • Thank you to our host, JDO, for Tiny Tuesday • Today’s coolish weather wants me to be in the kitchen. I’m thinking about using some of our Paula Reds to make apple brownies; plus baked spaghetti squash for dinner tonight • Ta-Ta For Now!
