Quod oculus meus videt

A Day in Ironbridge

Postponed from Monday, when L was still feeling rough with a heavy cold, we met up with John and Deb Gravett  for a day out at the Blists Hill Victorian Town in Ironbridge Gorge.  We had a simply lovely time walking around the town, with plenty to photograph and enjoy.  There was a natural division between the photographers and ladies, meeting up from time to time around breaks in the tour.  I've added a couple of extras of the characters we came across during the day.

We then headed on for the Ironbridge itself, in glorious afternoon sunshine.  We even got reflections from the water to enhance this shot from the fishing pegs on the south side of the river.  We had a simply marvellous time and it was lovely to show them part of our local heritage.
