Sgwarnog: In the Field

Landmarks

As previously shown here on many occasions, my seat in the upper deck of the main stand at Valley Parade offers extensive views over the city.  The Al Mahdi mosque is one of the landmarks on the opposite side of the valley.

City enjoyed a good 3-0 win over Stevenage, who had been sitting second in the table at the start of play. That’s four wins from five for the Bantams, and they’re up to fifth.

Before the match I was rummaging through the charity stall of old programmes and selected a Bradford City v Everton FA Cup tie from 1960. As I handed over my cash the man on the stall told me he’d been a ball boy at that match.
