Tufty

Sunday had initially presented lots of possibilities but perhaps too many in the wake of a busy Saturday. My body told me to slow down so I ended up staying in and reading and just went for a short walk in the afternoon.

Today’s wildlife highlight came in the form of Mandarin ducks on Red Brick Dam.

I am lucky to live in a place with plenty of access land, which is what this waymarker disc conveys. Of course, right to access did not arrive by luck, but through a lot of hard campaigning over decades. 

I also like that this gate post has a tufty hair style.
