Fungus

According to Google there are roughly 15,000 types of fungi in the U.K. so the chances of correctly identifying this one is rather unlikely.
I do have an app on my phone but I'm not sure how reliable it is. The fungus was identified as a Golden Bootleg but it could be something else altogether.

I noticed that a great many fungi had been picked up and discarded or kicked over by two legs or four. I'm sure a Robin wasn't the culprit.
