Father and son, mother and daughter or ....

The one remaining cygnet living on the Heritage Park Loch has grown into a fine youngster. Although about the same size as its parents the cygnet is not yet ready to fly. Plenty of wing stretching but too early yet for flying lessons to begin.

Spent some time in the garden this afternoon trying to sort out my pigeon problem. I don't mind them in parks but I hate them prowling around on the ground near the bird feeders, flattening all in their path. Using stones and old wire baking trays there is now an obstacle course and I hope it keeps  those pesky pigeons away
