Fast Asleep

My office is actually mainly a lounge for our cats - full of baskets, nests and chairs or shelves covered with blankets. So on most of my workdays, I am surrounded by three sleeping or grooming cats.

But I've never seen a cat sleeping face down, like Chaiyya in this blip. She was fast asleep, and when I stroked her (after taking the picture), she just meeped very quietly and turned over to lie on her side, without waking up.

It was (still is) a busy workday for me, making up for lost time earlier this week. P and I still managed to get out for a walk in lovely sunshine, if only for 40 minutes at lunchtime. Soon I'll have to drive to my mother's village for some admin stuff - boring, but unavoidable.
