Music Festival

It's our local chamber music festival this weekend in St Lawrence, West Wycombe. A small group of world class musicians come to stay and play music, mainly for their own pleasure, but music-loving locals cram into the church to listen to the most eclectic selection of chamber music.  The piano got such a hammering during the performance of a powerful piece by an obscure Russian composer on Friday evening that the piano tuner had to drive down from London and retune it before Saturday lunch time's concert.
