Dual purpose

Drove on up to Taden, just to the north of Dinan, today. We've stayed here before as it's an easy walk along the towpath of the Rance to Dinan (then uphill to the town!), but this afternoon we explored some different paths in the other direction, as far as Lyvet, then back along the river again.

These cormorants on the floating goal post caught my eye - kayak polo seems quite popular around here. The afternoon sun was lighting up the marina & town on the opposite bank, but this scene was on our side, in the shade, with the reflected light from the water giving near-silhouettes.The extra is looking towards the road bridge at Lyvet - the left hand section is a swing bridge, which we watched operating last time we were here.
