Japanese Bank Holiday

Slight departure from the day we had originally planned... we couldn't find the bus stop never mind the bus! So we threw caution to the wind and went shopping instead!

Now home, several yen lighter but a whole lot happier for our purchases; especially the clothes (a surprise find in newly opened mall) that fit Amazonian's such as myself :)) We rounded off the day at the 'German Beer Festival' (another surprise find) which served imported German beer and snacks accompanied by an authentic German band involving men & women in lederhosen! As they were all Japanese this proved highly entertaining (helped no doubt by large quantities of beer!) and the place was absolutely packed! Happy Holidays Blippers!

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline - it helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.
