I learned these fun facts while googling dragonfly images, hoping to identify this loner that’s been darting around the yard the past few days. On two different occasions he flew past me with a mouthful before finally perching on this warm-from-the-sun granite block • Blip Done • He does look similar to a couple of images I found but his “head” color doesn’t match. If you know dragonflies, please help name this dragonfly! • Their heads are really eyes, btw • My thoughts are with Nova Scotia as they recover from yesterday’s devastating hurricane.
