Wound up in Wexford

In the office

In marked contrast to yesterday, today was spent slaving over documents.  Sewing machine pushed to the back.  Trying to work out what evidence we need to apply for a medical card - which it seems unlikely we will achieve since our finances suggest we are rolling in cash - one house sold, new house not yet bought.  But we have to get the application in, so that when things change we are at least known to the system.

We are due to take the car to be registered in Ireland on Thursday, so we were also gathering documents for this - hopefully we have all the necessary and correct ones.

All quite stressful, and not something either of us enjoy doing - I'd much rather the sewing machine was at the front and the files were in the box!

But in crafting news, I have dug out and girded my loins to tackle the project left partially completed by mum some 30 years ago.  Some stitching (all hand stitching at the moment), much pondering.
