Late Sunflower

Our sunflowers have had a pretty rough ride this year. I planted them out rather late and then they were badly affected by the heat and drought. Those that survived are just coming into flower now - most are much smaller than they should be but still just as cheerful. 

Another day of report writing, culminating in the submission of a report due at the end of September a couple of days early. Wonders will never cease! No relaxation though, as there are still a lot more to come...
