An Emergency Feather Blip

We spent all morning and a good chunk of the afternoon at Monks Cross in York, with outer daughter….coffee and lunch was taken!!

Got home blipless and with the weather closing in, blip desperation set in - and then I spotted this feather lying on the ground outside the patio door…so I quickly set it up and grabbed my camera and flash unit to create the shot …ambient light excluded by using fast shutter speed and flash set so as not to light the hedge behind! Creates a nice black background! Hey ho…
