Waiting

An empty cat's nest was what I saw next to my desk for most of the day. Our Munni-cat was at the veterinary clinic to have her teeth checked again. They had given her pain lately, and we had suspected her one remaining upper canine to be the culprit.

When we got her back from the clinic, they hadn't just removed her upper canine, but the two lower ones as well. And they showed me the X-rays from before the surgery, which clearly showed that the vet who had treated her last time had done a shockingly bad job.

I'm actually furious. What kind of vet causes an animal more pain and makes her go through the ordeal of surgery at least twice (we can only hope it's done now)? Not to mention the double cost for the procedure. P and I could have had at least two weeks of holidays from the total.

But never mind; today was - and still is - all about Munni, the cat. She's still quite wobbly, and it has become too dark to blip her today, so you'll get a toothless cat-blip another time soon.

Fingers crossed that she'll be okay now.
