Wound up in Wexford

Sprouting

First job today was to get washing on the line, taking advantage of what promised to be (and was) a fine day.

Then I took photos of the roof box, which we feel is taking up a lot of space, and is no longer needed.  So I advertised it on Facebook Marketplace, and on a website called Donedeal.  A very rapid response on Donedeal, but from someone in Waterford, who wanted to use DPD to transfer funds - I've never come across that, and was suspicious - possibly unnecessarily - and said I would prefer an alternative method - lost that sale.

Fortunately, a much more local person contacted us this evening, and will come tomorrow, hopefully to buy it.

In other car related news, we attended an appointment at the VRT centre, to transfer the car onto Irish plates - one more document needed to achieve that step into Ireland.

W has been sprouting seeds almost weekly for several years now - we enjoy them on our Sunday poached eggs, and in salad.  But although we brought the open packet of seeds in the car, we didn't bring the sprouter.   Yesterday we bought a replacement at a health food shop near Harvey Norman. So that's us sorted for this Sunday.
