Wound up in Wexford

Sunshine and showers

Not the best photo, but the best I managed, of the dramatic dark sky as we were going into a hotel for our lunch.

A day out doing stuff.  First stop, Harvey Norman, to get a new gas cylinder for our Sodastream.  Whilst there, we had a look at bed - a lovely young man, who by co-incidence was called Harvey, demonstrated the adjustable bed we fancy buying, and did an excellent job of selling (by being both knowledgeable and enthusiastic) what is undoubtedly an expensive luxury item.  W commented afterwards that he was a pleasant contrast to the majority of salespersons we have encountered in the UK recently.

Then a visit to the fruit and veg shop, where we also indulged ourselves by buying some freshly baked scones.

Then over to Loughrea, stopping en route for lunch, which was when I snapped this photo.  Lunch was a tasty, and very generous stir fry - chicken for me, king prawn for W.

In Loughrea we picked up some medication for W, bought gin - very important - and other items, including some cream for the scones.  And then home.  There was another nice sunset visible from our kitchen window when we went through to prepare our scones - maybe missed the best of it, so it was a dramatic rather than colourful sky.
