Gala Wala

Don’t often get full on glamour any more but our organisation took a table at the BFI Gala dinner at the new Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square to mark the opening of the London Film Festival and we went along.  This is Tilda Swinton giving a speech.  It was a fun evening but I spent much of the second half of the dinner sitting on a cosy velvet sofa talking to P who I hadn’t seen since he left the BBC earlier in the year.  N and I stayed at our new discovery The Premier Inn Hub - strong recommend if you have to stay over in London.  Modern, simple, functional,  central and cheap. We walked to our beds in five minutes….
