“Let me tell you something. I live to make people laugh. Parents, siblings, friends, lovers, doesn’t matter. I just have to.

If you for some reason don’t know how to make someone laugh, then learn. Study that s*** like it’s the SAT.

if you are so unfortunate as to have no one in your life who can make you laugh, drop everything and find someone. Cross the desert if you must.

Because laughter isn’t just about the funny. Laughter is the music of the deep cosmos connecting all human beings that says all the things mere words cannot.”

– Frank Li (the character in Frankly In Love, a novel by David Yoon)

Strava Day 487. Indoor yoga and reading done. Featured photo is the previously mentioned YA novel from my friend Pides beside the "Meditations for Women" and "Meditations for Parents" books.

Title is in reference to where am at currently in the book. David Yoon's writing is easy to read (no big words like the British authors in "Deadly Sins"). Used Eatlog's paper tag as a bookmark. Eatlog is a newly opened Korean sandwich store in our town, seemingly similar to the Yolk sandwich stalls/franchise (have not tried/ have never been to one, only saw photos of their stores and sandwiches in social media).
B bought one of Eatlog's sandwich choices yesterday after gym. He found it too sweet while I found it "sinful" (it has butter, bacon and it is wrapped/packed in plastic). Maybe next time, we'll just dine in to try their other sandwiches. The salted egg fries in their menu is tempting.

It is Sunday morning here. Always grateful for family, nature, food and space. Light and love.

P.S. Quote in the beginning is from the book. In all of the 100 pages, it stood out.
