Nearly gone.

For another year the Fireweed or Rosebay Willowherb is nearly over.  The air is full of seeds blown by the wind.  This is a plant that I like as its name was told to me by my grandfather as I accompanied him on his walks along tracks.  No fear of being run over as Dr Beeching had made his railway closures.  For some time the tracks remained.  Amazing times.  Exercise and knowledge.  This example was taken recently at Florence mine, a place I visit frequently.
