Pink-Barred Sallow Moth

I’ve spent all day in the garden and whilst I was cutting some flowers for the house, this little yellow moth dropped on to the worktop. I scooped it up on a leaf and then after a quick photo-shoot popped it back on the dahlia it came from. 
Later in the afternoon I saw another one, so it must be their time of the year to be about. 

I’m quite pleased with my progress today, but there is still an awful lot to do.
