Red Spot Diadem

Our last opening day to the public, but hopefully I will get another few sessions in the Butterfly House on my own before we close up completely for the season.
Once again, the sun was shining, and it was quite busy with many butterflies flying around.

Today's shot is of a Red Spot Diadem from South Africa. There are only a couple left now and they are often found sat upon the netting, so it was a surprise to see this one in amongst the foliage.
There are not so many species left now that I've not blipped already, so you probably won't be subjected to many more. But on the flipside, that means we will be back to birds and emergency indoor blips when it's raining - ha ha :)
