The Lozarithm Lens

By Lozarithm

Devizes (Monday 3rd October 2022)

Provisions at Lozarithm Towers reached the stage where it was necessary to restock, and I drove over to Devizes. Once imminent starvation had been eliminated I reparked at the Hourglass canalside pub in the parish of Roundway and walked along a wooded footpath that leads to Coate Bridge. I noticed this splendid oak as I approached it and also got a shot of some of its acorns (in Extras).

The towpath is on the other side of the canal but I didn't return that way as there is no crossing anywhere near the pub, but rather than come back the way I'd gone I found some pavements and a park that led back instead.
