Clematis

Putting out some new growth which I've seen before at this time of year. In fact, I remember noticing that there is often new growth of some kind right into winter and it only stops if the weather is freezing. 

I did a brief foray into the outside world between heavy showers to post a birthday card and pick up a newspaper (for free) at Waitrose. They have threatened to stop the free newspapers but haven't done so yet.
