Life through the lens...

Flower Friday

Always one of the last plants to flower in our garden. It has many names.
Schizostylis Coccinea
Hesperanthus Coccinea
Crimson Flag.
Scarlet River Lily
A native flower of South Africa. It seems to like our garden and usually flowers sometimes right up to Christmas.

A very wet day. Usual farm shopping and then bumped into some friends when we were collecting the eggs. They came back for coffee and cake and we had a good catchup as we haven’t seen them since July.
Hopefully they maybe out walking with the Pudseys next Thursday.

Had a relaxing afternoon reading. Hopefully tomorrow will be fine as I need to do some more gardening.

You will be pleased to know that MrC’s eye is no longer painful. In fact he can see better, but that is always the case when he has just had his injection. It gradually deteriorates slightly over the next 8 weeks until he has his next one. So grateful for being able to have this treatment on the NHS.
