WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Trip…

…no I’m not going on one but I drew it for the Inktober prompt.
I was going to draw me tripping up but thought - nah, too close to home!
Knee is slightly less swollen but don’t mention GP to me! Grrrrr! :-[]
Needless to say the referral was not sent until I phoned the surgery 3 times. Eventually she sent an email this afternoon which was too late to get an emergency appt with the MSK specialist so they will be in contact next week. We’ll see!
It’s been mostly wet, wild weather today. I’ve almost finished my poem to that effect but can’t get the last line so I’m going to sleep on it. That often helps. What rhymes with Can-can? :-D))
Yurii received a big box through the post containing 2 high vis jackets, waterproof trousers and a bag for on his ‘new’ bike. It was from Blip friend Amanda. He was so thrilled and went out on his bike this afternnoon.
Thanks Amanda!
When he came back I asked where he went and he said  ‘Field on right with very big containers.’ We were puzzled but it turns out he’d gone past the local caravan site and I showed him online what a static caravan looked like. He’d never seen one before, they didn’t realise people could live in them.
Also a lady who lives in our local Castle (The Peel from Grand Designs fame) Had a pair of shoes in his size and she invited them both down to collect them and see inside their lovely residence. The shoes are perfect.
People are so kind - it restores my faith in humans!

Frank shampooed the living room carpet today. What a difference!
We found the Vax carpet cleaner in the cellar when we moved in here.
For ages we put it off as we didn’t know how to use it but it worked a treat.

Anyway, off to bed with my book now and dream of words that rhyme with can-can!
Goodnight ;-)X
