On the Beach

Colin came round this morning and we all went for a walk along the front to an outside coffee bar near the start of the sea wall, Teign Bean (see extras).  We sat and had a good chat and a very nice cup of coffee.  As it was now getting on for lunchtime we walked back to Back Beach and caught the ferry over to Shaldon.  There we settled down at The Clipper for a very pleasant lunch.  Although a bit cooler today the weather was still sunny and it was nice to sit out and watch the estuary. On return to Teignmouth via the ferry we had another walk and ended up at one of the few coffee shops still open....why do these places close so early?

All in all, a very pleasant day.
