Glow

Today I abandoned my usual quest for sharpness with some soft-focus playtime.  Tiny, spiky azalea buds, sitting among the fading leaves, waiting for next spring.
The other day I traded in a long-neglected 50mm lens for a cut-price Lensbaby... lenses that I've read a lot about, but have never felt ready to try out. There may be a few more experiments in the pipeline, while I find out how to achieve the 'ethereal glow' I've read about...
