Today has been such a treat! Despite a cool start the sun warmed us up to 70F! We had a list of things we wanted to get done but first a quick stop at the Post Office, then down to the river for a blip. I saw this park bench yesterday and really liked the colored leaves dangling overhead. Of course Simon and Garfunkel came to mind too • The veggie garden is officially put to bed for the winter!! We dumped the last pots of plant soil, a bag of manure and some compost then raked it all in. Other than chairs everything else is now packed away in the shed. I took advantage of our warm temps and applied a coat of water sealer to the inside of the new shed doors, while MrsP got a fire going in the fire pit to burn up fallen branches and some non recyclable paper. A very productive day! • It won’t take much convincing for MrsP to agree to a glass of wine before dinner, and a G&T for me :) Like bookends we’ll sip and chat on the couch :)
