New Nature!

Today we were visiting a new (opened a week ago) nature reserve very close to Västanåfallet, a place we often visit (see extra and Jan's blip). As you see we had a lovely day with sunny weather. The walk was through natural forest and along Mjällån, the Mjäll river.  I imagine we will be returning here many times, to see it in different weathers and seasons.
After the morning walk we drove in the campervan to the car park at Västanåfallet, where it was still sunny, and made hot drinking chocolate. The chili, cinnamon, honey and cocoa base was inspired by our recent trip to the chocolate cafe in Docksta earlier in the week. Jan mixed it to a paste in advance and we boiled the milk up in the van. It was delicious, and the whole picnic experience gave Mike and Charl a small taste of vanlife.
Today is their last day so I'm very happy it was such a nice day!
PS Life has settled down slightly now so I'm putting up a few backblips (such as this one), as well as the usual daily.  I'll have fully caught up in a few days.
