Before, During, After

Most of this morning went on a Keep Kineton Beautiful session clearing a drainage channel running down to the Dene.  This area is used by runners and dog walkers, and can be very restful in the summer. Small streams run down to the river Dene and today's task  was to clear one of the waterways near a small bridge.  You can see how overgrown it was to begin with but the water flow increased dramatically as we set about clearing excess vegetation and silt.   These three images in the triptych are all to the downstream side of the bridge,  and show about a third of the space we cleared.   One in the extra of the view upstream.
As usual, it is a surprise what 8 or 9 individuals can achieve in a couple of hours.
