An ordinary life....

The sweetest smiles...

S is a huge Take That fan and is particularly obsessed with Mark Owen.  She had tickets to see him live in concert in Glasgow tonight, so the plan was she and L and the girls would visit a friend in Glasgow this afternoon and stay over, so Sharon didn't have to drive all the way back here after standing all night at the concert.  Lily the dog stayed with us :-)

This was all very well timed as last year then went to visit her friend at the end of their stay with us and the girls cried all night because they wanted to come back to ours instead of then going home.  At least this time they will be coming back here for another three nights :-))

Cheese toasties for lunch followed by strawberries, blueberries, mango and oranges and Greek yogurt for afters.  These girls are a pleasure to cook for because they eat almost anything!

After lunch we headed to the side garden as S wanted me to recreate some photos that were taken exactly four years ago when Anna was the age Faith is now and Faith was four months old (Faith is the exact age Anna was then as the girls share the same birthday, four years apart :-)  I have put those photos in extras along with the original pics from four years ago :-)

Took my chance to take some photos of the girls.  I could photograph them for hours, they are so funny and so photogenic.  I hope to have more opportunities to photograph them before they head home.

Photo session over, they headed off, S quite giddy at the thought of seeing Mark Owen, the girls already asking when they would be back here!  lol

I headed to the studio to begin my first pastel pencil drawing exercise, which is of an avocado.  I found pastel pencils completely absorbing and really enjoyed the session.  I have just under and hour left to complete this week's exercise so will get that done tomorrow before the gang return.

After dinner D headed off to his singing rehearsal and I settled down with Great British Bake Off, then finished editing today's photos.

About to enjoy a final cuppa before bed.  It's a very quiet house tonight!  :-)))
