Consequences

Such a lot of rain recently. I might bemoan it but Berry just loves the puddles and play! One of the consequences is lovely reflections on puddles and glimmering light. 

We have a 'Polycrub' arriving, possibly tomorrow (a day early). This is an updated version of a polytunnel, made in Shetland to combat stormforce winds.  Obviously, their close cousins in Orkney are very happy to use this technology!  Ours is nearly the smallest available as we're mainly in the business of growing for two, but it's been quite a wait and we are excited that it's nearly here. 

The downside is that we thought we were on schedule to receive it but, with the request to come early, we've spent a large part of the day taking off the old gravel and liner on the site which was a lot more effort than anticipated. I also had planned to do a bit of garden tidying; only small areas but it's amazing how much needs doing on closer inspection!
