Lightening Strike

Judging by the black marks on the trunk, I assume this branch was struck down by lightening. A beautiful day and warming up a bit, especially if I kept in the sun. I walked along the edge of the woodland, looking for potential shots. I liked the leading line of this fallen limb.

Unfortunately, I forgot to charge the battery in the camera so I only managed a few shots. I kept my eye out though for future possibilities.
