Sunshine

Apologies, but I’m still way behind.  Please be patient and I’ll catch up soon.

It was sunny all day today and the temperature reached 20/21degC.

We did the usual run to the Parnell Farmer’s Market, then Mr MacD headed off to the Maritime Museum for his sailing duties.  There were the two usual one-hour cruises on the Ted Ashby, plus an additional two-hour cruise, which comprised 24 young women on a hen party.  Four of the young women were the brides and the remainder part of the hen party - or should that be parties?  Apparently they were very well behaved and brought their own food and “Ribena” with them.  They weren’t exactly dressed for a sail on the harbour, but warm coats would have spoiled the selfies.

I, meanwhile, did a quick trip to the supermarket and spent the afternoon working and cooking supper.

We started watching This England after supper.  I feel it is too sympathetic to Boris Johnson.

The only opportunity I had for a blip today was to take photos of flowers in the garden, and then the sunny view from the balcony at 5:30pm this afternoon. The flower on the left is a Pericallis, known as cineraria.  The flower in the middle is a Lobelia.  The flower on the right is a Dietes Iridoides, also known as the African Iris or the fortnight lily.
