shore day

back blip

having sailed up the Romadalsfjord over night we docked early morning at Andalsnes. this morning we booked a tricot Rodven stave church and the Troll wall. there was a short stop at the troll wall which is the highest and straights cliff. At the bottom it was guarded by a very ugly troll. Next stop was the stave church . Built in 1100 AD mainly of timber and daubed in tar to keep the elements out. it was restored a few hundred years ago by a far sighted articled as he was building the new church opposite.and today is protected church as part of Norwegian history. only a few of these churches exit today
back on board we had a leisurely day. After dinner Alan went to the show and i played with the camera settings and night sky.
