Here today, gone tomorrow

I photographed Hibiscus tiliaceus while walking to the lookout. Like many hibiscus, the individual flowers last only one day. It's common in northern Australia and coastal areas of the Pacific and Asia. It has many common names (see Wikipedia) - the name Cottonwood Hibiscus is generally used around here.
