Notes: Chaos and drama of Bette, and then we headed out. Had to detour to look at the nursery that's closed today ... and then all the area around it (wall mural was nearby). On to Sam's, had the new membership cards but system was down and couldn't do anything. Dropped things at Scott's, had to drive around the back so she could sneak a look at all parts of the yard. Left a big $30 piece of salmon on his doorstep w/ the other stuff in 80 deg heat. Back to her house by 11a, just wanted to get back and make my coffee. Turn down from Trader Joe's last night and didn't pick up mom's call - called her today, was very stiff and neither of us had much to say. Short time at pool, then a little nap. Talked to Joe & Al, took shower.
