Notes: Up late again near midnight, watched the AZ Diamondbacks beat the Phillies to advance to World Series. Nice cool air in the evenings and keeping windows open. Slept till 759a. Slow morning, had coffee and watched some videos, prepared Bonnie's bday card and ordered her gift (2 adult coloring books). Talked to Joe a bit and then went to pool for close to an hour - shocking for me! Was beautiful, sunny, warm but with nice cool dry breeze. The first day in a long time where I was feeling really good about the sun and being outside ... Made a chicken salad for lunch, tho from canned chicken leftover and didn't have any celery so added walnuts. Made fresh avocado mayo. The arugula was getting old and yellowish already - took some out for 2nd salad and threw the rest of the bag out (prob will stop buying from Trader Joe's). Had salad w/ 1/2 croissant of chicken salad and later blackberries (these going bad too - from Costco in Greenville, pretty disgusted w/ stores these days). And then my kraut pounder arrived so cleaned all the pieces and started the sauerkraut recipe ... it will ferment now for 3-5 days out (since my place is 75-80 deg) and then will be transferred to fridge for slower fermenting. First time trying this and watched the video a bunch of times. Can't wait to try it! By then it was 3p and felt like quite a full day.
