Supermarket Sweep

Twenty seven years ago today, we moved house.  Clearly, we decided that 26th October was a good day to move because two years ago today, we did it again.  It certainly doesn't seem like two years but thankfully I think I've blocked out of my mind all the stress we went through at the time, with the whole thing nearly collapsing at the last minute due to the person at the bottom of the chain having an incompetent conveyancer.  The first seven months were in a rental before we moved in here, and having moved close to the coast we've never regretted it for a moment.

Shortly before we moved, the only supermarket in town burned to the ground.  They've since been operating in a tent in the car park (a very big tent!) but the replacement store is coming on well.  The main building looks all complete now, and fitting out should start soon.  It will be good to get rid of these hoardings in the new year and get the store back open again.
