In Which Bones Rider Gets a Hat!

I showed you this neighborhood Halloween tableau last week. I've walked past it several times since then, and this time, Bones Rider was sporting a new HAT. The hat is graced with a menacing bug, which is fearsome, to be sure.

I have to tell you that I wondered . . . was the hat just an ADDITION to the tableau? Or was the skeleton's HEAD somehow stolen, and replaced by this HAT?  (And no, it's not my property, so I did not feel safe in stepping onto their lawn to investigate for myself!)
