John Clare's Cottage

Most of the day was spent at the Torpel Cabin where Kathryn and I went through everything we need to do before our upcoming exhibition in November. We were actually very disciplined and managed to get through our list of topics by half past twelve, which gave us time for a more informal chat over our packed lunches.

After lunch we checked the route into the site and sorted out a location to hang a banner advertising the exhibitions. While we were doing all this, the reserve manager came across to feed the sheep, and we had a very useful chat with him. We then proceeded to the John Clare Cottage where we sat in the sunshine drinking very decadent hot chocolates, making a list of all that we wanted to invite to the exhibition and preview.

I'd thrown my camera bag into the car in rather a rush and found that I had no SD card or batteries (ages since I've done that!) so today's image is a phone snap of John Clare's Cottage in Helpston. It's well worth a visit if you're in the area.
