Yarrow Valley Weir

It was looking very autumnal at Yarrow Valley this morning. Despite seeing both a water rail and two flying kingfishers, my blip today is of the weir. The flow of water was much less than last time, which made it a better shot I think. I'm not known for taking shots like this but quite liked playing about with the shutter speed a bit - I might even do it again ;) 
In extras - I also liked the shot of a lady who overtook us along the footpath whilst we were looking for goldcrests - we didn't see any this time. 

This evening at camera club it is a practical evening and we have been told to bring our cameras and tripods. I'm not sure what we will be photographing.......intriguing.
