A time for everything

Back to the bike trail!

Saturday October 29
During our absence, most of the leaves have come down from the trees, so it was quite a different scene at the bottom of our garden, and out on the bike trail. However we came back to gorgeous weather - not quite as warm as Florida, but blue skies and sunny. We decided to give the tandem an outing for a change, and we started from South Lebanon and cycled north for 14 miles return. It’s a nice time of year to ride the trail, with the remaining colour, but at the same time with many of the leaves down, you can see more of the river and farmland through the trees.
In the evening, we were out at a choral concert at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral downtown, the wonderful San Francisco based male a capella group, Chanticleer. This was actually a rescheduled concert that had originally been programmed for last April, but Chanticleer had to cancel, as a number of them had Covid. We have heard them a couple of times before, and they really are amazing and sing such a variety of music. A great evening out!
