Last ones standing

This site, at Rampisham, used to be a BBC installation.  The Beeb relinquished it a while ago and it has remained unused, I think since then.  These are the only remaining aerials.

The problem has been for any acquiring body to obtain planning permission for their development of the site.  I spoke yesterday to the chap who is running the latest, successful, development and it seems that there is a rare grassland that has taken hold in the area, militating against ideas for a solar farm, which was the last wheeze.  Now the site is home to various small industries and a sculptor's studio; the place is now buzzing and that's a good thing.
