With rain forecast for much of the day I decided not to go out until mid afternoon.

Around 2 o’clock the cloud started to clear from the lower slopes of Wansfell and gradually more came into view.

There were still a few spots of rain when I left the house but not enough to warrant a waterproof jacket*.

As you can see from the photo and extra things changed when I got down the hill and I spent about 10 minutes sheltering under a shop awning from where all the photos were taken. I seemed to have focus and shutter speed issues today :)

* Still need a new waterproof. I saw one in Cotswold yesterday. Nearest I’ve found to what I’m looking for but not in my size and more than I want to pay.
