Sgwarnog: In the Field

Mushroom

A modest excursion out to Lister Park seemed a good choice given 18yo had his train ride back to uni at the end of the day.

With 14 yo, we had lunch in the cafe, enjoyed the autumn colours, invented a few ball games including using the big umbrella as an impromptu hockey stick, dodged firework chucking youths and and visited the art galleries.

The mushroom trees in front of Cartwright Hall looked freshly clipped, and made for some pleasing symmetry in the formal gardens.
