A Door in Beja

Ever since Brexit, we, along with all the other Brits in Portugal, have been trying to get our European ID cards; this morning we, at last, had managed to get an appointment for our biometric details (photo, fingerprints, signature) to be taken - in Beja - about an hour and a half away.

Got there early, and both of us were done before the time of our first appointment, amazing. Now to wait for the payment slip to come up, and then the actual card to arrive...

Gratefuls:
- getting somewhere at long last with this document, which we need for all sorts, including applying for our Portuguese driving licenses (which has to be done before the end of the year)
- Mike turning our chandelier upside down to give us more light
- a special evening in Évora with all the Amigos, so long since all of us have managed to get together
