An early start to get back to Edinburgh in time for my various meetings, etc. It would seem that early morning in midweek in November is a good time to travel. Although it wasn't particularly swift through to Inverness, with some early commuters in the mix, it was very smooth from there onwards.

The light was amazing. It started with a fiery sunrise over the Kessock Bridge, which was recorded elsewhere on Blip, continued with great light through Cairngorm, and concluded with amazing inversions as we continued down past Blair Atholl and Pitlochry.

At work, I carried on.

Sad to leave Tain, but also quite happy in a way to be back in Edinburgh and in our flat.
